ABOUT THE BIG DESIGN MARKET

Since launching in Melbourne in December 2012 The Big Design Market has brought together leading independent designers and design retailers from Australia and overseas. The event launched in Sydney in 2016 and is now in it's 4th year!

The Big Design Market is the ultimate shopping destination for those who value original design and ethical production across homewares, fashion, stationery, kidswear, tech accessories, eco-friendly products and more. The event provides a direct to the public sales platform for independent design businesses launching new brands or their latest products.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

The Big Design Market invites independent design businesses creating design products that are original, highly quality, eco-friendly and innovative, to apply for a stall.

SELECTION CRITERIA

The Big Design Market is seeking applications from designers whose products are contemporary and original with a high standard of presentation. The selection committee gives preference to applicants whose products are created using sustainable materials and ethical manufacturing methods. Applicants launching new products and those who are not seen regularly at other markets are highly regarded.

Both the Sydney and Melbourne events are curated and as such each application will be assessed individually.
